Description

Fine inlaid parquetry and marquetry satinwood dressing/writing table with floral design to the top and geometric patterns to the sides and interior. A lockable sliding top panel reveals a hidden hinged panel to support a book or mirror and a number of hidden drawers. Fine cast brass appliques to the cabriole legs and lions paw sabots. Inspired by an original of the early 18th century designed by Jean Francois Oeben. Probably made for the French royal household. Limited edition of 200 pieces. (Old salescode: 494553)
